How WBJEE 2026 counselling works

WBJEEB runs its main counselling in three stages. First, an Allotment round. Then an Upgradation round for candidates who want a better option. Finally, a Mop-Up round that fills leftover seats. You register only once. That single registration carries you through all three rounds. No need to reapply each time.

Once the main rounds close, many seats remain empty. This year, WBJEEB opened a separate Decentralised Counselling round in September to fill them.
